Marka vaadi neden önemli?/Why is brand promise important?

Çiğdem Avcu

Müşteri, şirketlerin can damarıdır.

•  Her Alanda Etkin Olun…

Why is brand promise important?

The customer is the lifeblood of companies.
Happy customers are the most important ingredient for successful businesses.
If you want your customers to think well about your brand, you need to create a brand promise and deliver on that promise.
What you make customers feel is what can make or break your business.

*

Successful businesses build trust in their customers with consistent, high-quality experiences.

So if you don't know what a high-quality customer experience looks like in your company, how can you or your employees create it?

Of course, with the promise of the brand...

How would you describe your brand promise?

If you do not have a brand promise yet, first of all, it is suitable for your team and customer needs; you must create a

fairly simple, unique, descriptive, inspiring and concise statement

So how?

First you have to define your value.

You need to learn what is important to your target audience.

Your entire marketing strategy revolves around your ideal customer (or customers).

And since your promise sums up the customer experience, this is where you should start; that's right here.

To understand "what" your brand has to offer, you have to identify your customers' core values, what exactly they're

interested in, their personality, durability, and so on.

E.g; like a private insurance company selling insurance to people who value time and money. Showing how it provides that value by saving 15% or more on car insurance every 15 minutes is a promise.

Is Your Brand Different?

There is a saying that I always defend; “The difference makes the difference.”

After telling your customers “what” you can deliver, specifying the “how” will reveal your difference. All the “hows” set you apart from your competitors.

Here is the question to ask yourself; “What is our best brand strength?” should be.

Taking BMW as an example, it prides itself on producing high-quality performance vehicles that deliver outstanding performance. They sum this up in their brand promise, "The Ultimate Driving Machine."

Once you have your brand promise, you must keep it.

A word without a consistent action is just lines of words.

Some Strategies That Build Brand Promise…

• Formalize…

Your promise should be a formal part of your internal messaging and brand strategy. Once completed, it should be applied to your vision, mission statement and training documents. Everyone in your company, including your key stakeholders, should know your brand promise.

• Be Active in Every Field…

A customer's experience includes more than talking to a sales representative or recruiter.

It consists of all the touchpoints and interactions your customer has, including your social media, website, and product.

Whether it's your brand promise, your online user experience, or the attitudes of your customer service team, every customer is the core of the touchpoint and interaction.

If you promise eco-friendly products, does your packaging keep that promise?

If you promise hassle-free service, is your website fast and easy to navigate?

When reviewing your entire customer journey, from discovery to after-sales, it's critical to retain existing customers for whom you've invested time, money, and effort.

Building a successful business goes beyond acquiring new consumers.

You need to retain your existing customers.

The more loyal consumers you have, the faster you can achieve your business goals.

In the business world, the chance of selling to new buyers is only 5-20%, while the chance of selling to existing customers is around 60-70%.

Acquiring new consumers is 5 to 25 times more costly than retaining your existing customers.

Leveraging your existing customer base is a simpler way to increase your profits than marketing to new prospects.

Companies that increase their customer retention rates by as little as 5% achieve an average increase in profits of 25-95%…

So how can you retain your existing consumers to grow your business?

The answer is in my next post…
